[edit] Introduction

To help give users a consistent experience on the site, this page will outline the standard format for an Artist page. This page contains additional guidelines on top of those outlined in the main artist formatting page here for Japanese artists.

[edit] Page Titles

  • For artists with names in non-english scripts, use the artist's native name as the primary article, and place a redirect at the romanized versions of the name. For example: 中島みゆき (Miyuki Nakajima) should be the primary article and 中島みゆき, Nakajima Miyuki and Miyuki Nakajima should be redirects to the primary article. For the main article, the parenthesized name should be {given name} {family name}, not the {family name} {given name} format that the native name is in.
    • The exception to this rule is when multiple artists are involved. In this case, the title does not have a romanized name in parentheses. Instead on the page, links to the various artists' pages should use the normal format.
    • To create a redirect, use the command #redirect [[Target page]]. In this instance, the command would be #redirect [[中島みゆき (Miyuki Nakajima)]].

This page is a stub, because it does not contain the required information for this type of page. Please help us expand it.
  • If this is an artist page, please add links to all existing song pages. If possible categorize them by album, otherwise put them in an Other songs section and tag the page with {{Split}}.
  • If this is a lyrics page and you know the lyrics for this song or where to find them, please insert them on this page. If no lyrics exists for this song please tag it appropriately, for example using the {{Instrumental}} or {{deletion}} templates.
