Problem with &-mark on album name

Hi, I don't know proper place to ask this, so I just ask here.
There is album called Maximum Jee & Jee (1979) but headline on that page is just 'Maximum Jee'. I guess &-mark is messing up something, how do I fix it?

This problem appears to be fixed.

Artist name is wrong

I'm trying to add some lyrics to an artist page that was created by the bot. ( Mediaeval_Baebes,_The ) Problem is, the artist name is incorrect: there Shouldn't be a "The" in it. What do I do?

To change the name of an existing page, you can use the 'move' function at the top of the page. Just specify the correct name, and specify a reason for the change (optional, but prefered). This should be what you want.

Thanks, I wasn't expecting a reply so fast. Do I have to move all the songs on the page too? (sorry, I'm kinda new to the concept of editing wikis)
--Ninique 18:19, 17 August 2006 (PDT)
If you change the links you will need to. Otherwise, you can if you would like to. The wiki will create redirects, so the old links will still work until those pages are deleted. But of course, it is up to you.
Anyways, have fun.

Various Artists

How do we handle albums with various artists? The album I want to add is http://musicbrainz.org/release/3f2a22e4-0fc3-421a-bbbf-dd6f751097b2.html --bleedwithme 16:34, 3 October 2006 (PDT)

I'm not too certain, but there are some albums with "Various Artists" as the artist, such as Various Artists:Lizzie McGuire Soundtrack or Various Artists:Hannah Montana Soundtrack (2006) .If you look at the Category:TV_Series category, you'll note the use of {{track|title=<<title>>|by=<<artist>>}}, which is what I would use for denoting the tracks, but those articles are not for albums, but the show itself, so I would suggest using "Various Artists" as the artist. However, I recently updated Jack Johnson:The September Sessions (2002), but have not changed it to "Various Artists" because Jack Johnson produced the documentary, and made the soundtrack. --Snoopdugiedog 18:00, 21 December 2006 (EST)

Requests for moves

The category with requests for moving the artist is rather hard to find. I found it yesterday and put something on the list, but now I can't seem to find it again. Maybe there should be a link to it from this or another help-page? Remiss 08:12, 3 January 2007 (EST)

Hmm... I see it's on the faq already. Maybe the faq should be made more visible :p The faq information box looks like one of those things I skip reading on a page. IMHO it should be put in the blue one instead of a seperate yellow one because as it is now i think it's a little too "ignorable". Remiss 08:14, 3 January 2007 (EST)

I added a shortcut for it in the COmmunity Portal. --Unaiaia (talk) 08:24, 3 January 2007 (EST)
FAQ link moved inside main box under the Getting started heading.

Help:Advanced

Where on this page do you guys think would be an appropriate spot to link to Help:Advanced? -Sean Colombo (talk|contribs) 16:16, 22 December 2007 (EST)

Frankly, I would think that page would be best split into different spots. The Sources of work might be best under "Getting Involved", perhaps relabeled as "Where We Need Help" or something similar. I think the tools would be best under a separate heading of "Tools", since more tools are likely to be created/discovered as time passes, and grouping the handy ones under a single heading would be desirable.
While I'm sure Kiefer would have more of an opinion here, has any consideration been given to revamping the structure of Help:Contents? This is the kind of page that I can see becoming unwieldy as more information is added, and already I see a few things that might could be improved on. (Such as the Index that I created, which in hindsight should have been placed under Reference. I think perhaps Non-English Songs should be more closely integrated with Songs in general, and it bugs me to see some headers linking to articles while others serve just as a header. Seems inconsistent to me, but perhaps I'm just being my typical anal self. Kiefer, feel free to jump in at any time here...  ;-) )

I'd say just go ahead on the revamp of Help:Contents. I mean, the worst thing that could happen is we would revert the changes ^_^ . Much more likely the changes would incite additional edits to the page. If you are worried about getting feedback before clobbering the existing page, just make a copy of the page (under for example Help:Contents/Test) and then post back here. We always welcome constructive help. But I really haven't given it much thought beyond today noticing that Template:HelpIndex is out of sync with Help:Contents.

Must the search feature on this site direct to a Google search page/web crawler? Couldn't one make it so it searches within the own site, in "Special" pages such as the Wikipedia[1] search? 63.28.130.150 19:25, 26 December 2007 (EST)
