LyricWiki's Record Awards is a scheme designed to acknowledge the contributions, editorial or otherwise, of other LyricWikians who you consider to be deserving.

Maybe you have been impressed with another user's overall contributions, their editorial work, or good ideas. Maybe a fellow LyricWikian has been very helpful to you, or given of their time to assist you in completing a LyricWiki project. Maybe someone has been welcoming, supportive, or just plain kind. Maybe they have cheered you up and made you laugh, by the humour in their posts, when you've been having a bad day...Whatever the reason, show them that their efforts have not gone unnoticed - give them an award! And do it today!!

The templates for awarding LyricWikians who you consider most worthy are:

1. Diamond Record Template - for overall contributions.
2. Multi-Platinum Record Template - for editorial contributions.
   
3. Platinum Record Template - for instigating or implementing new ideas.
4. Gold Record Template - for providing assistance or support.
5. Silver Record Template - for good humour.
6. Special Record Template - for when no other template will do.
