Required parameters:

• year: the year in which the prize was awarded

Optional parameters:

• artist. Defaults to current page name (e.g. Award). Name of the artist.
• award. Defaults to Grammy. Name of the award.
• type. When included will display for what the prize was awarded (e.g. song, album).

Example of a minimal template:

 {{award|year=2006}}

This is rendered like:

• Award was awarded the 2006 Grammy Award .

Example of fully parametrized template:

 {{award|artist=Eminem|award=Academy|year=2003|type=song}}

This is rendered like:

• Eminem was awarded the 2003 Academy Award for this song.
