[edit] Page redesigns

I don't see anything against making new pages at Main_Page/Proposal for example. publicise them on the talk page, let the community develop them.

Also, I'm working on tidying up meta pages after Amelias comments take a look at User:TrevorP/SiteMap. I see you are looking at updating help pages too. We should probably re-arrange/move/combine some of them too.

BTW, love the page layout, and the notebook is looking sweet :)

[edit] Parental Advisory

Hi, I noticed you've worked on Parental Advisory a bit. I had kind of forgotten that you had a test template, when I made Template:pa (otherwise I probably just would have done a move). Anyway, they're very similar except that the version I just made doesn't hide the lyrics as of yet - I think we should do that using a plugin or something so as not to destroy a large number of pages for users who prefer PA music. Anyway, I thought you might like to know about the template and possibly slap it on some pages (or even change the picture to that red logo if you desire). I mentioned some things about the template in its talk page.

Sorry but I think, what you put in there, fits more to Wikipedia, not to lyricwiki...

It's just nice for some articles to have a list of current and previous band members, genre and hometown. It's pretty much the same with Tool. Anyways, the amount of bands/side projects the Scar Symmetry members were involved in made it somewhat cluttered. And please remember to sign your comments by writing ~~~~ after them. Thanks.

Hello. I saw that you reformatted the lyrics I transcribed for one (or more) song(s) by Navid Modiri & Gudarna. I'm new to this wiki and I'm not sure what the rules are here, but in my opinion your formatting kind of ruined it. Navid Modiri is a poet at heart, not an artist and thus I think his lyrics/poetry should be written down including the periods. Also, you put capital letters on the lines which ended with a comma, which doesn't look pretty at all. /Kristnjov 14:10, 7 October 2006 (PDT)

Tjao Kristnjov. Concerning the removal of periods, I personally think it's rather annoying to have them there although I don't know what the rest of the community thinks. And yes, the capitals, that's LyricWiki policy (see Help:Contents/Editing/Formatting/Songs#Lyrics). Hey man I copied your last.fm to my profile (modding in my own username) and changed a few things. However, I have no idea how to get it to display in the center properly between the ads with the default skin. It looks fine on Cologne Blue but that's the only other one I've tested. I tried doing align:center; and width:50%; in the code and only the width part worked. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Kreuger (talk • contribs) .

Hey, take a look at how I did Template:Album/Soundtrack. I have logic in there to account for Various Artist vs. distinct Artist.

Also, with that template, there is really isn't a need for the movie reference in the Template:VariousArtistAlbum.

Maybe given the above, we could elimate VariousArtistAlbum and just use these?

I was thinking combine VAA with Album. I already have the logic in Soundtrack, you can look at it there. The logic says if the Artist is Various Artist, then automatically assign, so this should cover what you referenced, along with the NOW! type albums.
