[edit] Songinfo template

I had a look at the template. I don't like the idea of having the icon stick out the top of the box. My suggestion would be to center the text vertically instead.
Also, I did some modification to the template. There was already an info icon uploaded at Image:Khelpcenter.png that is already very polished, so I went ahead and used that one. I also used Template:Banner that I have been using to standardize the look of all the banners.
Unrelated to the template itself, the information on Joshua Kadison:Jessie would probably do better in as a bulleted item in a section ==Trivia== at the bottom rather than in a banner.

I would like your opinion on a set of templates I have been working on: Template:AlbumPage, Template:IncludeAlbum and Template:IncludeOtherSongs. I wrote up a rather long explaination of why I want to use this on my talk page. I experimented with these templates on Gackt, Utada Hikaru, Move, The Pillows, and Ayumi Hamasaki to get an idea of how they would work.

Hi, i've seen you're using the Welcomeh template, and i wanted you to know i did some changes to make it (at my opinion) better. Now it should be used as {{welcomeh|User_Name}}. Ok, it's me, Crazeeflootgrrl. Hi. Um, well, could you please stop deleting all of the stuff on my page and friends' pages. It's really annoying me! Truth is I'm not supposed to chat online because my parents won't let me, but I try to find a way around it all the time (internet gets busted & I use email, wikipedia, & lyricwiki). If my parents won't let me chat online, how am I supposed to keep in touch with my friends that I moved away from? (Plus, they don't let me call them because it's long distance and my parents are stingy!) So, please! I'm begging you! Stop. Please.
I know!!! Could I be your apprentice and you still let me chat with my friends?!?!?!?!?! PLEASE! Oh, pretty, pretty please with sugar on top! I'm good with computers! I used to be able to write computer programs. Simple ones anyway. And I have sorta learned how to use Lyricwiki in edit form! This might help you, and it'd be really cool for me! Please!

I'm sorry your parents won't let you chat online, but this isn't a chat box! Currently the LyricWiki servers can hardly handle the traffic load, that's why you often see slowly loading pages. Maintaining the site even as-it-is costs more money than it brings in. So I hope you can also understand our point-of-view, when I say we're not happy with users just chatting around creating (and often loading) very large pages. Especially when all these users do is fill each others chat pages without actually contributing to the site. Don't get me wrong, I'm not against chatting on talk pages at all, but useful stuff also has to be done and the off-topic blabbering must not get out of hand. Same goes for irrelevant images. Me and some of my fellow-administrators were getting a bit annoyed by this and requested on your talk page to clean up a bit.

Anyway, you won't be banned or anything, just try to think about us when you chat with your friends. Actually, instead of using LyricWiki, you may want to try some other site that's better fit for your needs, like MySpace or [1].

Again, I have nothing against you or your friends, but I also try to protect this site and it's resources a bit. Please take that in consideration.

Sorry if it seemed like I was yelling (even though it's online)! I just a little pissed and things... I don't know actually! but anyway, you see, I face this problem where I can only go to so many websites (about 10-20) and if I try to go to any others, they're blocked. You see, my parents are a little strick (spelling?). But thank you anyway! And by the way, what about chatting, but not too much, and only if I help out the website? Hi! I've created the Categories for the Songs starting witha greek letter, now it's something like

• Category:Songs
  • Category:Songs Greek Alphabet
    • Category:Songs Α
      • Category:Songs Ά
    • Category:Songs Β (They look like A and B, but are Alpha and Beta :p)

And also created Category:Artists Θ since is the only one right now i think (i'll do the others later). I was thinking about doing the same for Cyrillic Alphabet (Category:Songs Cyrillic Alphabet) but it happens that there are MANY different alphabet based in the cyrillic one... Macedonian, Russian, Servian, Eslavian... OMG!!! What do you think we should do? Hi! Cool. I think a lot of Cyrillic letters (like А, О, Е, ...) can be stuck under the 'normal' (roman) categories and perhaps even some Greek capitals (like capital Alpha, Beta, Omikron, Eta, etc). For the Cyrillics I think we should start with the default Cyrillic alphabet, as indicated on Wikipedia. I doubt there are very many songs starting with e.g. Ы. If we need additional letters, we can always add them or consider storing them under the Symbol or Cyrillic other subcat. Hi! I've seen you deleted Template:Spam... i think it's a good template (well, i did it :p)... it was created so articles with spam could be easily identified. An admin doesn't check every page in the Deletion Request category, but with this template admins can easily identify pages that can be deleted quickly (it categorized them in a subcategory). Also... you say it is not used... well, if the template is not used it's because it does it's work very well and every page with spam has been deleted, don't you think so?? Well, anyway, just wanted to share my opinion, i understand that everyone doesn't share the same opinion about some templates being useful, but since u deleted it without no discussion (at least i didn't see one and i think i have the page in my watchlist...) i wanted you to know. Hi again! Teknomunk reverted the template, so no problem with it. I think you don't get the use i want to give to the template. The template puts the page in the category Category:Request for Deletion/Spam so the Admins can go there and easily identify pages that have been Spammed and can be quickly deleted without having to check if the song is not by an autor or if it is wrong titled or somethign... You recently deleted Boudewijn De Groot:Tournee, but there was no reason given, it created a broken redirect, and it created a dead link from the band's page. I have restored it, but I was wondering why you deleted it, or if this was accidental? --WillMak050389 22:38, 31 December 2006 (EST)

Sorry I forgot to update the Other songs list. I deleted the page because it's not a song. Tournee is just Dutch for tour (as in: on tour). The page contained the lyrics of another song: Boudewijn De Groot:Het Land Van Maas En Waal. Probably Uberbot grabbed this lyrics from a site with songs of a live tour. I hope I did it right this time.
